NAID AAA Certified
We are a NAID AAA Certified Company
What does that mean for you?
Being NAID AAA means that we maintain the strictest protocols when it comes to handling your sensitive information. We utilize tracking devices and/or constant contact with our drivers and transporting vehicles when your equipment is in transit to our recycling facility. Our vehicles are secured during transport and all drivers are fully vetted and that inspection is re-verified regularly.
When your equipment is in our possession it is processed as rapidly as possible and a certificate of destruction or sanitizing is sent directly to you - the customer. Beyond that all of our processes are independent verified by a third party auditor on both a regular and random inspection basis. Take comfort in the knowledge that your used IT equipment is handled with the utmost security and care in protecting and exceeding your PII, HIPAA, PHI, and other sensitive information standards.
YOUR DATA SECURITY IS OUR #1 CONCERN
Why NAID AAA Certification Matters
Anyone can say they destroy data securely.
NAID AAA Certification means an independent third party regularly audits our procedures to verify that we follow strict security requirements for handling, transporting, destroying, and documenting confidential information.
For Lexington Computer Recycling, that applies to much more than the moment a hard drive enters a shredder. Our procedures for handling, transporting, tracking, destroying, and documenting sensitive material are independently audited on an ongoing basis.
The Shredder Is Only One Part of the Process
Data security begins before your equipment leaves your facility and continues until destruction is complete.
Depending on your service, that process can include secure collection and transportation, vetted personnel, identification of data-bearing devices, serialized asset tracking, physical destruction or certified sanitization, and documentation showing what was processed.
Before data-bearing media is destroyed, we can record individual serial numbers and use that information to provide a detailed Certificate of Destruction. That gives your organization a record of what happened to retired equipment—not simply an assurance that it was handled properly.
Secure Documentation Built for Organizational Oversight
Healthcare facilities, financial organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, data centers, and other businesses routinely handle information that cannot simply leave with an old laptop, server, or storage device.
For organizations subject to HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, PCI DSS, CJIS, or other privacy requirements, choosing a NAID AAA Certified provider helps demonstrate due diligence and reduces the risk associated with retiring technology.
Working with a NAID AAA Certified provider helps support your vendor due diligence and gives your organization a documented process for retiring technology securely.
PCI DSS AOC Compliant
PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a standard around the world that establishes a set of technical requirements and operation requirements that are designed to protect account data. Lexington Computer Recycling takes on the newest Version 4.0 standard for our operation which provides additional peace of mind for your security not only in the eWaste processing portion of your journey with us but security with your payment and customer information. This is in addition to our already high level Data Security Certification with NAID AAA.
Secure From Pickup Through Final Destruction
Lexington Computer Recycling combines NAID AAA Certified data destruction with secure logistics, documented chain of custody, serialized reporting, and responsible electronics recycling.
Whether you're retiring a few office computers or decommissioning an entire data center, our goal is the same: protect the information on your equipment, document what happened to it, and make responsible technology retirement one less thing your team has to worry about.
